We are a group of local physicians, registered nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors, licensed therapists, dietary counselors, volunteers, hospice aides, and homemaker services.
Our Hospice program is committed to providing personable and compassionate care for our patients and their families.
WHAT IS HOSPICE?
Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide support and comfort to patients and their families when faced with a life-limiting illness.
Referral into hospice is a movement into another mode of therapy, which may be more appropriate for a patient with a life-limiting illness.
Serenity Hospice promotes the belief in improving the quality of a patient’s last days by offering comfort and dignity. Our Hospice care neither prolongs life nor hastens death.
OUR MISSION
To provide quality hospice care to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments, using an interdisciplinary professional collaborative practice.
The primary goal of this hospice is to improve the “quality of life” for the patients by offering comfort and dignity while under our care.
